FAQ
What are the benefits of X-Treme Series over other cabinets?
X-Treme Series have a patented Dehumidifier technology. It offers Unique Ultra Fast Dehumidification Rate of reaching 1% RH level in less than 15 minutes (for two dehumidifier and heater unit models) after a door opening. This ensures that the material inside will be exposed to the ambient humidity level for very less time even if the door opening frequency is high. A real constant humidity level is available.
100% Redundancy of dehumidification process. Double Dehumidifier units ensure fail-safe and reliable operation.
Touch Screen LCD panel provides easy control and functionality at the same time. 128×240 pixels graphics display the measurements of humidity and temperature with set values. Curve Plotting and History Pane monitor the humidity inside the cabinet for a period of time at a glance.
A very air tight design with thermally isolated double wall body, thermal glass of 22mm thickness and magnetic gaskets on doors. This brings low operating costs and better performance. Smart microcontroller software provides reliable control with access codes and easy-to-use menus. All user settings can be done in seconds.
Remote Monitoring with RS 232 interface. Data Logging and Monitoring Software logs the real time data in external memory of the cabinet to PC and displays Curve Plotting of the logged data on PC monitor. Memory Dump to PC Software transfers the data recorded in external memory of the cabinet to PC. Curve plotting display of the logged data on PC monitor. For more details, please have a look at X-Treme Series Brochure and Software.

What is recovery time?
Do X-Treme Series drying cabinets satisfy requirements of IPC JEDEC J-STD-033B.1 Standard?
X-Treme Series Auto Dry Cabinets can maintain 1% RH continiously. For details please refer to Standards page.
What happens to X-Treme Series cabinet when the power goes off?
Do X-Treme Series cabinets use heat to dissipate moisture?
Do X-Treme Series cabinets require calibration?
No. X-Treme Series use fully calibrated humidity and temperature sensors. These sensors are interchangeable without recalibration at the operation site. Additionally, If there is a necessity it is possible to use on board – built in multipoint calibration function. Besides, optional Calibration Software is available for even hard to please customers. This software is used at factory calibration stage normally.
Do X-Treme Series cabinets require nitrogen / Have X-Treme Series cabinets got nitrogen purging system?
Do X-Treme Series cabinets require any maintenance?
No. X-Treme Series do not require any frequent regular maintenance.
What are the benefits of LCD backlight and cabinet light automation?
What is curve plotting?
X-Treme Series cabinets have a graphics LCD Touch Screen control panel. The relative humidity and the temperature values measured inside the cabinet during operation are recorded periodically in the memory. Standard built in memory is for last 60 min. (240 data point x 15 sec) .You can see all 60 min past data for Rh and learn the Rh amount just touching anywhere on the curve. More is possible with optional add on Datalogger cards. The recorded values of Rh in respect of time are shown with a curve plotting on graphics LCD.
Curve Plotting monitors the humidity inside the cabinet for a period of time at a glance.
Do X-Treme Series have data logging feature?
Do X-Treme Series cabinets have remote monitoring?
What is history pane?
History Pane is a useful type of display which enables to scroll throughout the X-Axis (time) of the curve plotting at control panel of X-Treme Series cabinets configured with addon Datalogger Card. You can see all past data for Rh, Temperature, Date and Time values with one touch anywhere on the graph.
Curve plotting can show the values of relative humidity recorded so far in the total logging time period. By using tape player type five buttons the user can easily travel in the past and observe the data recorded throughout the history.
Why do X-Treme Series cabinets have four door?
Because four door is an optimum choice to obtain a practical use while ensuring less exposure to condition outside when any of the doors opens. More doors limit the area reached when just a door opened requiring two or three to open for bigger materials. Less doors exposes the condition outside more with one opened.
